Many calls from this number, which I haven't answered as they haven't called when I've been in -- but they haven't left a message either. Calling them back identifies the firm as "CT International calling on behalf of BT" and gives a different number on which to request removal from their lists. I'm registered with TPS.

I've been subscribed to TPS for 4 years and this woman keeps calling me claiming to be working alongside BT and trying to flog me an ofeer relating to telephone products. Now, we've explained we're not interested but still she calls.
A true Telepest!

They randomly started ringing my landline number 2 days ago. The first time I answered and spoke to someone but had to hand up to answer the door. Following this I received 2 or 3 further phone calls that evening, both of which I ignored. Today I have received 3 further phone calls all of which from the same number but every time I have answered they have been "silent".
Apparently they are working on behalf of BT but they do not seem to get the word NO - also how can you tell them you are not interested when there isn't anyone on the end of the phone to talk to when you do answer!!!!

woman rings every few days claiming to be something to do with BT,has tried every trick in book to confirm my surname(she has the wrong surname ) as she already has my address including postcode .She wants to save me money on my BT bills.a bit contridictory but shes a tryer.

We are also getting constant calls and we tell them not to phone us any more and that we are not interested. I have just had them phone us 3 times in about 10 minutes now.

I get regular call from 08009539090 (I can tell this as I have caller ID), perhaps one a day on average. I have answered in the past so I know it is a sales call, which I don't want (as I never buy anything based on cold calls, either by phone or a front door). I don't asnswer now but it is still a major nuisance.

Call from someone claiming to be from BT saying there was a fault on our line and calls had been routed through Nottingham??? and we might be eligible for a refund and could he speak to the bill payer? My Mrs put him off but 1471'd the number and got 0800 953 9090. I have asked BT but not heard back yet. It screamed 'scam' at me as soon as she told me, it must be a scam, I'm sure BT wouldn't do this.

Had two calls today from 08009539090 - both cut out immediately on answering them, so obviously silent nuisance calls. I am registered with the TPS but this seems to make no difference to this caller. There is absolutely no justification for such instrusion into anyone's life.

Have received calls from this number several times in recent weeks asking for my daughter who has not lived at this address for years.

Received about 5 calls from 0800 9539090, offering me a great deal on Broadband muIh better than my original deal with sky, at first i was take aback by the seemingly 'great deal' but felt it was almost too good to be true, especially as BT had sent me a letter DAYS before saying that my Bill would almost double, I began to doubt it even WAS BT and so googled the number.... LOW AND BEHOLD I FIND OUT ITS A SCAM NUMBER!

This is a telepest. This number is one of BTs partner organisations called CCA and they are constantly phoning my number and not leaving messages on the answering machine. They are doing this to many other users - just Google the number 08009539090 to find out. Even if you apply to the TPS service they still continue. BT should drop them from their partner list.

I am also receiving these phone calls. When I pickup the phone it just tries to ring through to another number. BT have already lost my custom and as soon as my current contract is up with them, I will be leaving for a better company. Unfortunately, I have to wait another 4 months to do that!

0800 953 9090 - constant calls, and when I ask them to stop calling they hang up before I can finish sentence. Latest was James today at 14.39! CCA International for BT

I am sick of nuisance marketing calls from 0800 953 9090. This is verifiably BT and is a dammed nuisance ! When is someone going to stop them ?
Philyew26 December 2011
This number called me today. Our number is exdirectory. BT has no right to pass it on to anyone. I have already reported one company for a serious of silent calls and have just got peace now this number starts. When I say I don't want my number listed it's because I don't want these calls.

How can you designate this number a "non telepest"? They keep ringing and as far as I am concerned, multiple calls from the same number, that leave no answerphone message. are PESTS. There is also expressed doubt, on the Matrin Lewis pages and elsewhere, whether they ARE a "partner company" of BT or whether they are scam artists, using a misleadingly similar name, who are cashing in. Update your records, please?

Of course it is a pest I am signed up with the TPS and still they phone me unsolicited
